Our Shoes, Our Selves was photographed by Melanie in collaboration with actor Bridget Moynahan and writer Amanda Benchley. The book Our Shoes, Our Selves asks 40 powerful and accomplished women to recount the memories behind their favorite pair of shoes. Melanie traveled around America to capture both portraits and still life photographs to accompany each woman’s story.
